Here's a semantics question: which metric is the most costlike? The obvious answer is 'Cost, duh', but the term 'costlike' doesn't quite mean 'like cost' anymore. There are tricks and design considerations that show up in Cost, which Sum, Cycles, etc. do not worry about, which stem from having few ways to use your arm and having to brick everything. The more these tricks are needed, the more of a 'costlike' a metric is, and it all means that Cost kind of...stops being a costlike when you're forced to use track, no? It's more of an Area sibling, because you can use translations along with pivots and rotations for a lot of freedom of movement. So, really, Cost is not the most costlike metric; really, it's MechA, because you have to work around those considerations much much more than you have to with Cost.
